In January 1999, XIRON entered the Dog-God studio to record their first demo "Wicked Kingdom", which among others was sent to Iron Glory Records, resulting in initial negotiations for a contract. After some further demo recordings like "Carved In Stone", the band decided to start recording their debut album "Turn To Stone"; due to various technical problems, the recordings proceeded rather slowly, so that the album was released with some delay in January 2001. But it was well worth waiting for !!
