Dark Horizon Records announces February 2006 will mark re-release of the cult album WALLACHIA "FROM BEHIND THE LIGHT", which was originally released on the now defunct Velvet Music International. WALLACHIA has long been one of our favorite releases of old and are an over looked band from the early 90's era of True Norwegian Black Metal. No longer will this be the case! This re-release of "FROM BEHIND THE LIGHT" will also include as extra bonus tracks the classic and long since sold out "DEMO 96". This release will bring back the old feeling of Norwegian Black Metal that has long since disappeared from today's current scene. The music of WALLACHIA is very powerful, dark and ominous, doom laden with a very unique vocal style that hints of death metal. WALLACHIA do not hesitate to include symphonic parts as well... incredible acoustical passages that give you the sensation you are within the moors on the outskirts close to the Castle Vlad Tepes. South of the Carpathian Mountains there once was a evil ruler who impaled, tortured, and dipped his bread in the blood many. Dare to enter his land and you will shriek in terror from the horror, fall to your knees and beg to be saved. You will not be given mercy, and all your cries are in vain, to resist is futile. A forest of impaled corpses await you as you enter into the kingdom of Vlad Tepes the land of WALLACHIA.
