I'm sorry, but I can't get past the fact that Phil Anselmo is in this band. Ok he may like Black metal, but this is not very good. It just sounds like your average Darkthrone rip-off band. Extra raw and necro sound is found throughout. Killjoy does vocals. What is it with him and all these BM bands recently? He is in about 200 it seems.

Too bad it's such a short cd, very gim BM, gotta love KILLJOY's "vomited-vocals". I had heard Phil Anselmo had done some BM stuff and bought this out of curiosity, i was some-what suprised by the results...mixed feelings every time i listen to this release, i do think the keyboards detract not only from the wonderful necro sound they have produced, but also the credibility of the sound too. Not exactly BURZUM style keys, but still a good necro-release. First of all this has nothing to do with Superjoint Ritual whatso-ever, these are completely different styles of music,you cannot try to compare necro BM with thrash/hardcore american metal, they are obviosly 2 completely different styles of music. This release is probably suited to those who collect cd's of Killjoy and Frediablo's bands, ...basically anything very underground, raw and sick in sound and production.

one of the best black metal cds that i heard in a long time.it is very satanic unlike the rest of the wannabes out there.it has a nice atmospheric sound also and creepy.this is the soundtrac to HELL!

Viking Crown sucks it is a generic version of Darkthrone not only that is done very crappy as well what was he thinking.
Viking Crown is just plain noise no feeling in the black metal screeching and the lyrics sucks is
a joke I mean what the hell.
Phil"dude you better start researching more about black metal man" and right some good material and
don't ripp off peoples sounds If your going to make a primitve bad production black metal at least make it a little different" hehehehe
