Meatknife: Total GUT style porn/goregrind worship from Germany. Very brutal with guttural and pitch shifted vocals. 6 songs of downtuned goregrinding sickness for freaks. Disgustingly depraved cover artwork too. N.Y.A.B.: Here is the legendary noisecore act from Brasil. Nelson Agusto dos Santos of Rothenness Records also plays in this band, and is the founding member. There are 25 songs, some of them cut into pieces forming lots of 2-3 second noisecore blasts. I really dig this style of south American noisecore/grind. Very unpredictable, chaotic and obscure. They use flute, keys and wacky effects to spice things up a bit. IÕd say they are one of the most entertaining noisecore bands around, true heir to Le Scrawl.
Depression: They are a 2 piece band from Germany. Style is evil and morbid old school grindcore with death metal influences. Very brutal, heavy and bombastic sounding. There is something very DIY about the way they sound and I loved it. 11 songs are presented by them. All of these are released before in their 7Ó ep and the split 7Ó w/Rejectamenta. Not all songs are total grindcore, some of them are more mid tempo crusty d-beat songs with pummeling power and intensity. They are the 2nd best band in the CD I think.

Intestinal Infection: 3 songs + 3 intros from this grindcore band from Germany. Their style is totally old school trashy grindcore a la Napalm Death, Siege, Nausea etc, and also very similar to split mates Depression. Vocals are more like high growls and screams, instead of the usual low gutturals. Great crusty parts in all songs, just like grindcore meant to be. It just makes the songs so much intense too.
