UNHOLY GHOST is a new band, yet the members of the group are not so "new" in the metal scene. The 3/4 are ex-DIABOLIC members and the other 1/4 is ex-PESSIMIST. The death metal freaks must have already understood what UNHOLY GHOST is all about. Their storming death metal catches you from the very first listening. Ultra heavy and twisted guitars, paranoid solos and a really athletic drummer, especially when he speeds up, you can loose your head!! MORBID ANGEL, VITAL REMAINS and the whole Florida death metal sound are surely their influences and fortunately for UNHOLY GHOST (and for us) they don't just copy them but use them for inspiration. They enrich their death metal with some black and darkish feeling, something like DISSECTION and the results are really hellish. The muddy production is a plus, because it helps them to sound very brutal. That's it! Nothing more, nothing less, UNHOLY GHOST have all that's needed to satisfy everyone that likes death metal in a brutal and primitive way. Go for it! - Dimitris Fotiadis
