TIME OF DEATH is Chris Balch, who handles all of the instruments and programming on the disc. Hailing from Ontario, Canada this one-man band plays Grind interspersed with Ambient soundscapes and acoustic guitar. Sounds like a strange combination and it is. The album started off great with a brutal grinding complete with guttural vocals and sick drumming before abruptly becoming very mellow. This is pretty much the last we hear from a human throat…the remainder of the disc is instrumental and follows the same structure: Grind-Ambience-Grind-Ambience.
