If you haven't heard of this band before, there are many extreme metal musicians I know who agree this is in the top five most technical metal bands of all time. Not so much brutal technicality like Suffocation, Cryptopsy, Dying Fetus, Nile, Necrophagist, or Goregasm, this is highly progressive musically advanced technical metal that's not categoriaclly death, thrash, or black metal, but a unique mix of all those styles and a bit of jazz as well. Every release of thiers is excellent, as well as thier Black Metal Side Project; Mutant.

The melodic lines are in constant counterpoint, harmony, and flowing mixtures that change mathematically over a complex structure of unusual rhythms and more standard metal drumming in an excellent mixture that doesn't alienate listeners with too much progressive elements. For fans of the most technical of metal without the silly glam and prog aesthetic, this is the band you have been searching for.
