The opening track 'Vastakaiun' immediately evokes the image of those expansive forests which are so much a feature of their native land. 'Jäljen' has sounds echoing 70s electric folk, but much more laid-back. Neoclassical strings predominate on 'Suortuva', and acoustic guitar on 'Tenhi'. 'Sutoi' has a very folky sound with jew's harp and finger-picked guitar. 'Katve' has an improvisational element, whilst the closing track, 'Kuolleesi Jokeen' , has something of the quality of a hymn.
