This remark may be the explanation for the surprising major success of bands like HAMMERFALL or PRIMAL FEAR who hold the heavy metal banner. Now actively back in specialized and more underground shops, real metal is meant to gather up more younger fans than ever before.
Being major fans of bands like CARCASS, AT THE GATES and JUDAS PRIEST, ACCEPT, MSG... SOILWORK have penned the ultimate fulfillment for fans of both heavy and thrash /death metal styles. Combining a sharp and rapid death metal with a definite sense of melody, the band's debut album bearing the title of "Steelbath Suicide" probably shows more maturity and conviction than most of today's underground acts. Many a band from Sweden may have popped in a saturated market for the past years. Few may really draw as much attention as these young, versatile thrashers.
