Debut album from the new British upstarts.
This is what the mighty MACABRE if they decided to do a more "black" album. And not in the shitty METALLICA kind either! All the songs are about British serial killers old and new. Before you think you'll have heard it all before, you most likely haven't so jump in.
As I said about them sounding like MACABRE, this is true in respect that the songs are total tongue in cheek and guaranteed to put a smile on your corpse painted face. Clever lyrics as well shat out amid riffs you have probably heard somewhere before(and I'm not telling you where!).
My favourite tune happens to be the last one about murdering loon Peter Sutcliffe, The Yorkshire Ripper. Apparently, their next album will be based around dictators, so wait and see.
Anyway, great stuff and well worth shelling out for. Ace! 8/10!
