Thankfully, this is only SANCTIFICATION's debut, and hopefully subsequent releases will show some improvement. The sticker on the front boasts that the band is made up of ex members of DERANGED, DEFACED CREATION and AEON, and after listening to the disc, I can't help but feel that there's a lot of untapped potential here.

That said, this disc is actually pretty good, solid blasting Brutal Death Metal. Someone has their finger on the trigger and they don't let go for the next 28 minutes. There are shredding guitars all over this thing, brutal vocals, almost constant double bass; you should know what this is all about by now. Some of the tracks have headbanging frenzy written all over them.
