S.O.B. - Vicious World

  | CD

S.O.B.-Vicious World S.O.B. is recognised as one of the earliest of Japanese Grindcore acts, debuting in 1986 with the nine song 7" single 'Leave Me Alone'. S.O.B. came to international recognition with a shared release in union with NAPALM DEATH in 1990. The 'Thrash Night' EP, a 500 limited gatefold red vinyl 7", was issued through Lee Dorrian of CATHEDRAL's Rise Above label and featuref backing vocals by Dorrian and Shane Embury of NAPALM DEATH contributing bass on the song 'Deceiver'.

With original singer Yoshitomo 'Tottsuan' Suzuki committing suicide in June of 1995 the band drafted BRUTAL TRUTH's Kevin Sharp as temporary stand in before Naoto of RISE FROM THE DEAD made the role permanent. At this juncture S.O.B.'s musical emphasis shifted as samplers and keyboards took a keener role. - Rock Dector
