The band rediscovered their fondness for the darker Black Metal sounds that characterized their early recordings and decided to pursue the heaviest and darkest music possible on Genesis. While still catchy on Genesis – the album will still appeal to the old-school fans as well as those who prefer their more sophisticated and epic tunes.
