It is never too late for this killer album! Classic-sounding Brutal Death Metal by Michigan's REVILE from 1998.A great mix of mid-tempo attack with blast-beat aggressiveness; sometimes a sparse, raw, & totally underground sound, other times dark & claustrophobic (possibly recalling a less-doomy Paradise Lost 'Gothic'!)... Brutal growly vocals and grim Blackened raspiness! Surprising imaginative twists including emotional spoken-word rants, etc.! 60 minutes-- Definitely worth checking out!
