| "Eternally Dying" is a unique blend of melodic Black Metal, some death influences, and soft melodic accoustic passages. Rich in contrasts of aggression, beauty and melanholy, this carefully arranged album from Uruguay's Requiem Aeternam was a noteworthy first effort for the band. Started by Jose Romero, Martin Lopez(now in Opeth) and Martin Mendez (now in Opeth), Requiem Aeternam later disappeared from the map of Latin American Metal scene, only to be reborn in New York City. Under Jose Romero's charge, Requiem's 2nd album "Philosopher" is set to be recorded in New Jersey's "Big Blue Meenie" Studio in December 2003. Definitely something to look forward to. |
