Rituales Interiores sees a band matured in every way compared to earlier efforts. Especially developed is the most crucial thing of all, namely the song writing, which is more to the point this time- clearer, more stripped down structures makes for catchier, more memorable songs, it's that simple. And with an emphasis on expressing pure heaviness such a potent formula in the hands of Reino Ermitaño can only result in one of the most exotic and fresh sounding True Doom albums in a long time! Another thing that needs mentioning is Tania's vocals which are rock solid here, she has really grown as singer and securely deliver the Spanish lyrics with her unique, expressive voice that transmits melancholy as well as dominance, sometimes adding a twist of defiance to the brew. Yes, it is hard to righfully describe her vocals so listen for yourself and forget our pr-mumbo, however true it may be to us...A third thing we feel the need to inform the listener of is that we really dig the earthy, organic and warm production, it really strengthens the feeling we have that these songs were created in a candle-lit southern abyss filled to the brim with Santerian mysticism...
