This brand of Death Metal PUTREFACTOR plays is original stuff!!! I have been an avid fan of this genre for years and it isn't very often an original and brutal sickness comes around.

The vocalist isn't your traditional growler or grunter. He sounds like SEPULTURA or even a little like Phil Anselmo of PANTERA. Though he manages to keep it brutal anyway through out the CD. The music is old-school Death Metal added with a good touch of today's brutal guitar-slayings. This CD has six songs on it and from the beginning to the end PUTREFACTOR keeps you satisfied with their brand of late 80's, early 90's Death.

The production is raw, but it doesn't take away from the band's music at all. There isn't the usual super-fast blasting on the drums or extreme speed on guitars. PUTREFACTOR mix it up with old, Power Death Metal and Thrashy speed.

All in all I see a future for this band.
