From the Mouth of the Passing Reviewed by Funeral Rain Zine
From beginning to end it seems that Prayer for the Dying want ot outdo their previous efforts with From the Mouth of the Passing.
Riffs are heavier, and the band is tighter. Vocals are superbly executed, especially on "Criminal Saints" and "Breed Up With Hate".
All the best elements of the Structures from a Dying Matter album are made better, basically. The same people who I said would like that album will love this one. But it's the Behemoth and Belphegor fans that will revel in this one.
Standout tracks include the aforementioned "Criminal Saints" and "Breed Up With Hate", as well as "Anointing of the Sick" and "Dormant Anger Wakes".
I recommend this album highly. It's a great 8 out of 10, and essential for fans of blackened death.
