Very good black metal... poignant and powerful, completely unlike 95% of the black metal you hear these days. Very rich and 'organic', very livid sound, extremely low-fi on the production side (no doubt recorded this way intentionally). Sounds like a demo you might have heard back in the early to mid 1990s, if a bit more crisp and less thickly produced. I think the drums are programmed but I'm not sure right now. It doesn't matter... Some members are from Nazxul. I probably never would have bought this if not discovering that connection. Recommended, in short, to people who value good black metal from the days before everyone and his grandmother got together to form a black metal band...
