Second album from Finnish hordes of Misanthropic Black Metal. Hail Darkthrone! Frozen and pestilent sonorities spreading out the virus! Misanthropic and disgusting pure hate. Founded in 99 by E. Partanen and M. Minkkinen. First years were played under different names until Pestiferous was chosen. So far Pestiferous has recorded several rehearsal tapes and few promo/demos that stayed unreleased until the songs were selected for a debut release "When shadows swallow the candles". That tape got very good feedback and Behemoth Productions decided to work with the band. The first album (released in June '05 by Behemoth Productions) follows the earlier recordings: raw coldness, depressive and suicidal moods through intense fast and slow parts. "Gateway" is their second album.
