PERUNWIT stand out as a powerful musical expression of Slavonic paganism. "Black Folk" is the name of the genre that includes fellow Poles Lord Wind, sharing with them a sensibility gleaned off Black Metal in a nation that is a leader in ground-breaking Metal releases.

However, while Lord Wind's excellent forays push high production and take a cue off electronica, PERUNWIT emit a chthonic, acoustic stream plumbing the depths of the Slavic soul and raising the standard of a nationalist warrior ethos. PERUNWIT is one of the oldest and best known act from the underground Polish scene. Even though this record has been recorded back in 1994 and released a few times on tape, the idea of releasing it on CD simply kills! All GRAVELAND / LORD WIND fans should pay a listen to it... And the same goes for the KRAINA BEZ WIATRU... Excellent release, for sure!
