"Sanctuary Heve", that is when 10 minutes of music are better than thorough discographies. This mini holds two tracks: the first, "Sanctuary Heve", precisely, is a paranoic frenzy slightly grating which grows slowly, it rises inside you until it becomes huge, annihilating, hammering. Really dirty and twisted guitars in their monotony, a rhythmical section inspired and uncompromising, an organ spotted by folly. The same folly which meanders among the notes, very slow, of "Continuous Fix", second and last track of this mini, completely played by our man in an experimental and evil manner. Not to talk about the underground attitude which pervades the whole work, on the verge of integralism, but damned convincing and involving. Paul Chain proves once again to be more than ever alive and able to create some great music, at almost twentyfive years from the start with Death SS. Be careful, because "Sanctuary Heve" could become an obsession; in its shortness and its hermetism are hidden whole worlds of axiety and paranoia. Make it yours at all costs.
