Opus Atlantica is the latest Swedish power metal supergroup. Formed by mastermind Pete Sanberg the line-up is also comprised with Jonas Reingold of The Flower Kings on bass, Johan Reinholz (Andromeda, Nonexist) on guitars & Jaime Salazar (The Flower Kings, Midnight Sun) on drums and percussion. Musically Opus Atlantica gathers a variety of styles and influences fusing them into a new form of pounding Swedish heavy / progressive metal. While the music is very complex Opus Atlantica still doesn't losing the classic arrangements of the traditional sing-a-long choruses making them catchy and addictive.
