Since its creation in early 1997, THE OLD DEAD TREE have stood out in the current European metal scene with their unique musical style. A style which combines Extreme Metal, Dark Rock and Pop music accented with the exceptional vocals of Manual Munoz who slides effortlessly from one style to the other.

Following the suicide of its previous drummer in 1999, the band was inspired to exorcise the loss of this cherished person and all the dark feelings and frustration a suicide implies. This has resulted in the concept album "The Nameless Disease". Produced by Andy CLASSEN (Rotting Christ, Dew Scented, Krisiun, Tankard, Callenish Circle…) and mastered by Goran FINNBERG (In Flames, Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Dark Tranquillity…), this album carries a powerful, aggressive and modern sound.
