NYIA was formed by former members of VADER, KOBONG and PROPHECY and has had a member from YATTERING in their ranks. Based on their members' (former and current) band histories, plus the fact that they are from Poland, I was expecting these guys to be another Brutal Death Metal from Poland, a la DECAPITATED/BEHEMOTH/YATTERING. I was proven wrong, as these guys have an important influence from the likes of DILLENGER ESCAPE PLAN and they manage to mix that style with Death Metal riffing. Quite surprising, actually.
