NORTT – LIGFAERD

In a sense nightmarish, in another way intoxicating, "Ligfaered" is pure crushing black funeral doom that can truly make one's skin crawl and their carcass provide a fine feast for rats after a fine suicide ritual. An eponymous one-man "sermon of the deceased", Nortt's only aim is the rape of your existence and complete obliteration of any possible remnants of you. With six songs totaling over 45 minutes (which is more or less a funeral doom standard), "Ligfaerd" provides the soundtrack to your demise without doing you the favor of expediting the process, dragging it out slowly, ohhhhh so slowly!
