NIHILI LOCUS is the ancient name of the town/place where all members were coming from. In the year 1989 OMICIDIO came to life with following line-up: Massimo (bs), Mauro (gt), Bruno (vx), Robi (dr). In 1990 OMICIDIO began live activities and it planned the first recording. In 1991, was published the first demo tape "Premature exequie". After the release of demo, OMICIDIO kept on evolving, till when it needs to add among its members Valla (gt). With this new line-up it is decided to leave OMICIDIO. Here NIHILI LOCUS was born. During the first years of 90's the is a strong live activity, with bands of the scene. In 1992, the 7" "Sub Hyerosolyma…" has been self produced, followed in 1994 by the concept tape "… Advesperascit…" The musical evolution of the band obliges Simone (kb) joining. In 1995 an Italian label decides to produce a MCD "…Ad nihilum recidunt omnia". In 1996, after many written songs finalized to the recording of the full-lenght, first Mauro and then Robi, decide to leave the band, that splits-up little after. This was due to musical divergences, already started with the MCD In the 2001 NIHILI LOCUS it is again together and it decided to try again to compose, but also this attempt has not a long life and in 2003 it is melted definitively. In summer 2008 Mauro (gt-vx), Massimo (bs-vx) and Robi (dr-vx), met againg and their need to play Death Metal brings to another reunion, deciding to reopen other chapter it in the history of the band. Learning from the past, NIHILI LOCUS decide to keep a poor line-up, in order to play the music that, from the beginning, has been its reason. With this return to the origins NIHILI LOCUS it is ready to be again in the underground scene.
