In the field of Symphonic Black Metal, with the leading master DIMMU BORGIR, comes MEPHISTOPHELES, with their fourth album so far, called "Death Unveiled". What I really like with MEPHISTOPHELES, is that, unlike DIMMU BORGIR that use a real orchestra, they are using keyboards line and effects just to add some emphasis on darkness and sadness in their songs. This way, the band manage to keep so True Black Metal roots in their music, while staying melodic. --METAL OBSERVER
