On this occasion, and for this split only, MASSEMORD offer us a heavy, Death Metal version of themselves, with heavy sound and weird, growled and screamed vocals. SVARTSKOGG offers something closer to the traditional Norwegian Black Metal sound, with miserable dissonance, raw and noisy sound, and grim melodies and atmospheres, just like in the old days. Great band, this one.
