If you liked 'Chaos Engine', brace yourself – the new album is even more furious and punctual, undoubtedly making it the best Manatark release yet! Expect both melodic vocals and growling, technical riffs and guitar leads, monolithic bass and fretless wizardry, a mercyless drum-artillery as well as majestic songs that prouldy march along.
"The title 'Crimson Hours' refers to the last hours preceding death, when a person feels so terribly much more alive than ever before – yet already getting a whiff of the approaching demise," explains frontman Draconic.
"Crimson Hours" was recorded and mixed at No-Big-Silence Studio by Kristo Kotkas and mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila. Produced by Manatark.
Band photography in the frozen streets of
old Tallinn by Piret "Pir" Räni. CD artwork and layout by Ritual (www.nucleart.org). Synth and electronics by Draconic, fretless bass wizardy by Risto Sülluste (from Kantor Voy). All music by Draconic.
