Lumsk is a fairly new export from Norway that plays a style of traditional folk music mixed with modern metal and rock. There is no doubt upon the release of their debut album their name will be known by all. Fans of the recently disbanded Otyg would most likely enjoy this album as both bands have a similar concept, but they are a little bit darker. In addition to great music, the male and female vocals are very clear and crisp. Considering that this is a re-recording of their demo songs with a few new tracks is hard to believe.
