| to the guy that says this is one of the worst BM releases he's ever heard....you must not have heard very much black metal. leviathan rises above the rest with another superb release, the follow-up to The Tenth Sub-Level of Suicide. Wrest's trademark vocals give this album a hatred that most BM releases these days just can't accomplish. The music is great, especially for a one-man-band. I only wish I lived a few hundred miles to the north so I could track this guy down and praise him. |

| I bought this album because moribundcult was sold out of the one I wanted and asked if I wanted to substitute. I'm quite happy I picked this: it's as good as any other black metal release I've heard this year. Though this isn't a riffy song oriented collection the individual tracks are distinctive enough and flow along pretty well. There is a certain doomy quality to this music , which is serious depressive Black Metal with processed vox and often understated and melodic keyboards. Now to go back and pick up the '10th Sublevel Of Suicide', his previous release. |
