Swedish band Lake Of Tears offered with this release a bunch of songs mainly based on doom metal, but in rather melodic patterns, without infernal slow parts or aggressive growlings. Finnish band Sentenced could be a reference for the music contained in "Headstones", especially because of the vocal style. Anyway, other acts as Amorphis or perhaps Cathedral are playing in the same league as Lake of Tears with this album. - from below.dk
