Katatonias latest album, as well as this single, shows their progressive ways. This time they've continued the path of melancholic metal, but somewhat reminding of Tool.

"Deliberation" is one of the best tracks from "The Great Cold Distance" and it has those qualities you ask for - great song, suitable production, mixing and as stated above, everything you can ask for. The second track "In The White (urban dub)" is a remix where the beat sounds rather trip-hop inspired, as the version name implicates - think Massive Attack or Portishead, beatwise. The solemn guitars and tender vocals on top of this make it a rather enjoyable piece of music, although I prefer the original myself. What really makes this single worth buying are the non-album track "Code Against The Code" and the dark, but tasteful "Deliberation (video)". Both the song and the video are beautiful pieces of work!
