Junta. has become an act of rational selfishness in the lives of its current members. Through hard work Junta. has learned that it has become self-sustaining. Junta's incarnation occurred sometime in 1996, and since then has remains dedicated to its self preservation as a creative entity. The two original members, Chris Paris (guitar) and Ian McCartney (guitar), have remained ardently dedicated to the music of Junta.
