Impaler is a fun, amusing punk-metal-rock band that is fun in the same way that old Lizzy Borden was. Simply sticking with a basic, straightforward heavy musical attack and tuneful punk-ish vocals, Impaler knows that just having a good time is the most important thing for their band. You won't find the meaning of existence in their lyrics nor will you see them in Guitar World anytime soon, but this gets the hearty Good Fun® seal of approval from SSMT.
