Essential black metal for anyone and everyone. The best thing about Immortal is that they can create a dark, brooding, and triumphant atmosphere without relying on synths. Definitely one of the best and most monumental black metal releases ever. Everything from the vocals to the guitars to the drums on this album are awesome. Do yourself a favor now and pick this one up.

First review on this? Quite simply one of the greatest BlackMetal/Metal releases in recent years. Excellent guitars, drumming, and oh my the atmosphere...So dark and so very cold. After listening/owning MANY Black Cd's of all styles. I have to say this is one of my favorites. Immortal to this day remain one that stays true to the style yet keeps on going strong/forward. GET this. For they are the Kings of the ravens realm.
