Dirty, trashy, wasteland metal. Has a blackish thrashy feel to it, spiteful, upfront & sodomizing lyrics (literally). Yersinia pestis the vocalist sounds like a more raw version of Abbath of Immortal, very intricate & awesome guitar riffs. The duo works well at what they are putting forth, it's raw in your face. The vocals range from low & deep to high and extended. If you like thrash, trash & black metal Ilvestgrol is definately worth. The lyrics are degrading- They do not candy coat anything, & make their point,loudly. Agressive, raw, insane, excellent concept, as well as excellent guitar work done by droom, clarity is not a major point in this CD it's spewing forth good thrash, dark lyrics & not candy coating with pretty words.
7 tracks of mean, harsh, sadistic, rugged & extended screams. When you first hear it you don't know what to think because it's so out of control. Ilvestgrol is "wasteland Metal".
