Homoiratus play a style close to Brutal Truth and Groinchurn with some Rotten Sound mixed in. They play a style mixed with Grindcore, Death Metal and Crust. All who have heard this so far that I have showed it too really liked it. Here's what some reviewers have said so far.
"There's almost an old-school punk attitude to the songs; perhaps it's the lack of guitar solos, or the socio-political bent of the lyrics. They've got the start-stop, catchy breakdown thing in most of the songs, but instead of sounding hardcore, it remains a mostly metal vibe due to Angelos vocals which don't stray far from a death metal growl, though in places they work into almost hardcore territory. Like the lack of guitar solos, this is obviously a style choice and I can't fault them too much for it."
"Apocalypse" indeed is a great work, without faults and with no tension downfalls from the beginning to the end, that practices the very important lesson taught by Brutal Truth: To merge together everything the metal/core scene produced from the beginning of the eighties and grind it with fury, technique and personality. "
"Definitely better, fuller and ripe from their debut " Human Consumes Human" it grabs you in an instant and shocks you with its straightfowardness and speed."
