After a nice build up intro you begin to notice immediately what GREENFLY have to offer with their nice blend of mid tempo Death Metal with some great guitar melodies and leads and Grindcore vocal deliveries. The riffs are generally catchy and a pleasure to listen to especially when coupled with the rather unusual vocals. The style is more often than not a powerful growl yet without the guttural delivery of most modern Death Metal bands and it is accompanied by some rather ordinary screams yet what makes them so special appears to be the mix as something in it just really hits me. It sounds like it has been recorded through something giving it a far away, abstract or under water feel.
