Everything about Gold Für Eisen seems unconventional, as they are a unique band with a different agenda and outlook. Their lyrics deal specifically with their country, but more specifically with its social and psychological problems, especially the problems of nationalism and the problem of guilt pretaining to the myth of the German soldiers regarding the second World War; the myth that they actually were heroic when in fact they were Hitler's ideological army.
