"Three songs might not seem to be enough to make such a statement, but "Hiatus" is so layered with skill, attitude and intensity that it isn't a stretch at all to predict the band has great things ahead of them. I hate to relate back to a band I think are relevant in this genre, but there is quite a bit of Enslaved's recent work to be heard here. Fragments of Sentience put their own stamp on it and what makes it even more substantial is that this great sounding MCD was self produced.
