| A stunning album, not quite as good as their predecessor "The Fighting Man," but still very good. Only one track here uses black metal vocals, but the rest are well sung and quite catchy, the vocal style definitely portrays the English Heathen spirit. Even the two instrumentals sound like they were written in days of yore. Highlights include the opener 'Engla Tocyme' with the multi vocal chorus chants and 'Iron Hand' which has the cool black style vocals but slower instrumentation. Tunes to swing yer mug 'o mead back and forth! |
