Used, but in good condition...

FORBIDDEN were five Bay Area Thrashers that held their talents high on this recording. The album is full of shredding, complex riffing, blistering but melodically fluid leads, fine drum work, and some pretty healthy voice as well. The album is altogether robust in production with a nice clear sound. Execution is as precise as can be and you are immediately struck by the musicianship factor. Glen Alvelais and Craig Locicero make a great duo with their stinging leads that dazzle you in one song after the other. The best tracks: "Chalice of Blood", "Forbidden Evil", "As Good As Dead", and the outstanding "Through Eyes of Glass". The only let down is the final track which I thought sounded a bit flat.

FORBIDDEN's style is somewhat similar to other Bay Area bands of the era; EXODUS, VIOLENCE, HEATHEN etc. But FORBIDDEN are more technical and just as convincing as any of the aforementioned. This is a great album that will have you bouncing off the walls in a frenzy.
