Five guys formed THE ETERNAL, who celebrate a mix of Gothic and Doom Metal on "The Sombre Light Of Isolation", which should appeal to fans of both styles. I hear influences from MY DYING BRIDE or (old) ANATHEMA just like TYPE O NEGATIVE or generally Gothic Metal elements, as partly to be heard in the guitars, everything combined in a not necessarily (right away) catchy manner, but with longevity.
