Excellent live document from the kings of Norwegian "viking" black metal. Another live DVD filmed in Cracow, Poland, joining VADER,YATTERING,BEHEMOTH,CARPATHIAN FOREST and HATE, who all have live DVD's filmed there. This is a good venue which is T.V studio in "real" life. Anyway, back to ENSLAVED! This was filmed when they were touring in support to amazing album "Below The Lights" and boasts a more than descent set list which reflects some truly jaw dropping moments `as you would expect from this band.
Starting off with "Convoys To Nothingness" , then "Jotunblod". Yes boss! The songs are played to perfection, showing the band's skill and dexterity in the live situation. They even play a cover of the absolutely classic "Retribution For The Dead" by gore fiends AUTOPSY!. However, this only acts as a prelude to the first song from the bloody "Hordane's Land" debute-"Slaget I Skogen Bortenfeor"!!!! Simply reeking of class, rendering everyone in Cracow totally fucked. includes the usual extras and also has six audio unrealesed tracks to boot.
Essential. 9/10!
