The End
Transfer Trachea Reverberations from Point:False Omniscient
The End serves up a brutal mix of technical death metal, euphoric lullaby like melodies and rhythmatic drones of noisecore negativety. The gear shifting blasts of death catch you off guard waiting in anticipation of the next barrage, when suddenly, seducing dirges emerge to pick their way through the back of your mind. Discordant at times, it boggles your senses only to reemerge in a technical pheonix of schizophrenic death metal riffs and blasting drum beats. Similar at times to a mix of Dillinger Escape Plan, My Dying Bride, Damaged and a hint of Neurosis and Voi Vod, this very talented and musically tight five piece from Ontario, Canada prove they can hang with the big dogs on this 7 song disc. Never a dull moment with these guys. In my opinion, it's a technical death metal musicians dream band well worth a spin in the ole jukebox and it makes Messhugah seem like a joke. The production is good, the band is incredible, the only thing I'm skepitcal about is, can they pull this off live? Go see them if you can and tell me about it...
