Extreme, brutal and heavy death/gore. At first I though that this was going to be another of those bands that tried to play as brutal as they can. But, what a surprise it was to actually found that Embalming Theatre is an excellent death metal band, that it goes for the more brutal style with a lot of grind, yet never losing their identity. It sounds to me like an insane mixture of Incantation and Terrorizer, but I also feel they sound like the style that bands like the Swedish Crematory did. Most of the songs are around the 1 minute mark, which might give you an idea that their music is not formed by many riffs, but certainly they are not exactly very basic. The song which I liked most was "Chemical Solutions for A Rotten Problem" and there's also a good cover version of Exulceration (with a weird volume mix on it) a band that like Embalming Theatre comes also from Switzerland.
