The history of the band EDITOR can be divided into three periods. The first one is between 1988-1993, during which the band released four demo tapes and the music was unambigously definable as thrash metal. The second periods starts with the release of the debut CD "Shut Up!" in 1994 when the bands music stretches from thrash etal across hardcore and punk elements. The band continues in the same style on the second "Zero Option" album in 1996. After a long break the bands starts its third period with the thrid album "Game Over" in 2002, music dominated by hardcore and punk, second change being shift from English lyrics to native Slovak. In 2004 the band comes up with a new album "Realita?" where the band proves they are not only hard rockers but can introduce humour, melody as well as criticising points in their lyrics, dvoted mainly to the political situation of their home country. Editor have appeared on a huge number of live shows during their existence, ranging from small clubs to mega festivals with the biggest stars of both home and international scene. Having gone through a number of line-up changes the current one features Hirax and Luboslav from LUNATIC GODS and DIGITUS IN RECTO respectively, Hirax together with the singer Doctor being the only founding members of EDITOR.
