Echo West is a German band who has been producing music since their formation in 1994. Having released two full length albums and having appeared on numerous compilations they still remain somewhat obscure in the larger post industrial music genre. "Echoes of the West" is the bands most recent release published by Dark Vinyl who is also from Germany . With their new partnership with Dark Vinyl the music of Echo West is poised to reach a wider audience. I came upon Echo West when cruising about on the internet looking for new material and musicians to review at Heathen Harvest. Echo West appeared on a site that hosted a number of industrial noise bands. After visiting Echo West's website I made arrangements to receive their CD and was instantly hooked but what I heard. -Malahki Thorn
